Recent discussions and some forums is blank or broken was created by piligrim
Hi all
I was upgraded from 1.0.9 to 1.0.10 and recent discussions and some forums is blank or broken now. I use modified default_ex template.
Some forums open only for registered users and you can use login: test password: qwerty6 to see the problem.
If I use default template everything is good.

G'day, pilgrim
It was announced with the release of K 1.0.10 that old, customised templates might break (see #16661 ). A number of people have contributed their own K 1.0.10-compatible templates. You might like to use one of those or modify the new default_ex template that shipped with K 1.0.10 and apply the changes again.

I tested on original default_ex template and mistakes there was too. I can solve the problem if I use default template. But I need default_ex based template, because only in default_ex template work "NEW" button.

I'm sorry, pilgrim. I don't understand what you mean by "tested on original default_ex template" and there were "mistakes there" too. This original default_ex template: do you mean the new template that came with K 1.0.10 or some other template originally from a previous version?
Most of these templating problems are really easy to solve. The problems occur because people make lots of changes to the standard Kunena installation. In cases like these, when you don't know the cause of the problem, it's always best to go back to basics: start by resetting all the Kunena configuration settings to what they were when you first installed the product (see Kunena Configuration ), or - at the very least - use the configuration suggestions especially with regards using an unmodified default_ex template.
It's also possible that there's a third-party add-on that's conflicting with your Kunena installation. Again, by deactivating other components, see if this has an effect on changing the behaviour.
Good luck.

Hello,
with kunena 1.0.9, the recent discussions tab worked with default_ex ?
can you give the php version, mysql version, joomla version and others components that you use(joosocial, sef components...).

apache 2.2.9
php 5.2.6
mysql 5.0.67
joomla 1.5.10
cb 1.2.1
kunena 1.0.10
I used default_ex without any modifications and mistakes was too. When I see forum as guest all work fine, but when I login some forums are broken and recent discussion doesn't work.
