Question PNG Emoticons only?

I can't get any of my .gif smilies to work. Has the support been removed?

I don't know what changes must be do, but you can see in feature request or in uservoice, if someone has posted a request for this.

I'm unconvinced that this is a question of whether Kunena supports or doesn't support .GIF format - like Toolcrazy, I'd be extremely disappointed if K 1.0.10 doesn't support .gif "smileys", too - but rather if it's a problem about how to deploy customised smileys.

Have you tried to upload something other than .gif and do they work? If you can't get .png smileys to work either, this will rule out any implication that it's Kunena not "supporting" the .gif format.

EDIT: For the record, I successfully used a .GIF smiley with my K 1.0.10 forum. No coding changes necessary at all.
