Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

I'm occasionally browsing my already-installed Kunena forum and i get this interrupting white error page known as the variable table. I have searched the internet as to how to fix the problem, but i still haven't found a clear solution.

I have Community Builder installed, and integrated with the Kunena forum.
The MySQL database version is over 5.0.
All the Joomla! components are installed with "jos" prefixes in the database tables.
I am using the template default_green.

Any suggestions?

Is there any way I can re-install the forum, deleting the tables in the MySQL database, and still keep all of the topics/ranks/posts?

This is nothing to do with your database contents. For some fetching configuration fails and Kunena tries to create a new default configuration. It fails too.

Are your pages loading very slow when this happens?

Usually, if i refresh, the table goes away, and I can access the forums once again.
It does happen more frequently when there is a lot of traffic.
It doesn't necessarily decrease the speed of the forum all the time though.

Is there any way to stop it from appearing?

Hi,

It looks like you are running Kunena 1.0.7 Beta (the class names have been changed in 1.0.8). Please upgrade to 1.0.8 stable and see if that problem still persists.

I upgraded, and it still happens! Except this time they are different values in the variable table! This is what I get now (after installing the latest Kunena edition):

Hi,

This looks like that your install never finished. Most of the version info is missing except for php.

It is also missing the mysql version number.

Please re-run the install and post a a screen copy of the successful install message.

Have you check the tech requirements? Here is a link: docs.kunena.com/index.php/Technical_Requirements

If your mysql database version does not match the minimum required the install will fail and will write in red letters on the screen that it did.
