How to install a new language in Joomla 1.5? was created by onecha
I have my kunena installed in Joomla 1.5. in english, but I want to have also the spanish version (I use JoomFish!), How can I install it??
I found this www.kunena.com/forum?func=view&catid=16&id=6058 but it seems they talk about Joomla 1.0 since in 1.5 there's no such folders...
THANKS!!!

Hi onecha, welcome to forum
the way (in the thread what you find) to install new language for Kunena is OK for J1.5. If you haven't folder, it's samething wrong with you installation of Kunena. Try to reinstall.

I don't understand, what folder you are talking about.
If you get spanish language file(s), you must make a difference between the pure language file and an folder,that includes spanish buttons (it would not make sence, to use spanish language and then use buttons like move, merge etc
The language file "kunena.spanish.php" belongs into joomla root -> /administrator/components/com_kunena/language
If you got a folder named spanish with images inside, you must copy this folder into
joomla root -> components/com_kunena/template/default_ex/images
if your template is default_ex
if your template is called for example noname, then joomla root-> components/com_kunena/template/noname/images

Uninstall kunena and install it again , both over the installation routine from Joomla.

I've uninstalled it and installed it again, but I get no folder called "language" in components/com_kunena
Any idea?
