Question I installed the wrong Kunena eek

Well I recently changed over my site to Joomla 1.5 and when I did that I installed Kunena and was using fireboard before that. However I was trying to change some things around on the forums such as colors and stuff and noticed I installed the wrong version of Kunena. I believe I installed 1.5. So I have the beta version on my site. Would I be able to just install the stable version of Kunena and have all the posts on my forums on the stable version with out too many problems?

I hope that my post was understandable. I am in a bit of a rush.

Please backup your database and files befor downgrading (you should always make backups before changing a system).

Then deinstall Kunena 1.5.0 and install Kunena 1.0.9. It should work. Kunena 1.0.9 does work with Joomla legacy not native (as reminder).

How do I go about uninstalling? Never have been able to figure out how to uninstall stuff in Joomla.

Joomla Backend -> Extensions -> install/uninstall

choose components - > Kunena

I have really annoying problem
First I have installed kunena 1.5 and uninstall it and installed 1.0.9 for sseveral times and it always shows that is version 1.5 installed
I tried to erase all folders of kunena and it didnt help

can anyone help me to completely unistall this kunena and install fresh new 1.0.9

This is a known bug, you have installed 1.0.9 only the notice did not change. The DEVs will fix this in one of the upcoming releases.
