Why the error occured now, when the forum was running flawless before?

Because you changed something. Or, but less likely, your site is hacked.
Just follow the advice @rich and I gave you.
Or restore a backup from when your site was without errors.

I have now done all changes as adviced by @rich, but the 404 Error: View not found [Name, Typ, Präfix]: user, html, site error is still remaining.
The only change I have made since quite a while is the activiation of the PhocaGallery User Control Panel, but nothing else.
Furthermore I have run under Kunena Tools the Diagnosis and have received only the following error: topicMissingMessages Test Failed 2 Problems Delete Broken Elements. Can that also play into the issue?

If that doesn't help, activate the Kunena debug mode (Kunena configuration -> General tab), you may get a more meaningful error message.

You could enable Joomla debug as well, just in case this error isn't caused by Kunena.

Thanks for your advice. Prior doing that, maybe you can help me on the following points:
- Why the error occured now, when the forum was running flawless before?
- When I run under Kunena Tools the Diagnosis, I receive the following error: topicMissingMessages Test Failed 2 Problems Delete Broken Elements
- Why should I also change the menu item of "Show Profile" from Joomla when this is still running without problems?
Would be great to get a reflection on this.
Thanks
Chris

Incorrectly created menu items do not always lead to errors immediately, but they can occur at some point.
The diagnosis shows you that there is an orphaned entry in your database. A message or a topic has probably been deleted, but there are still remnants in the database. However, this does not lead to the error you have described.

If that doesn't help, activate the Kunena debug mode (Kunena configuration -> General tab), you may get a more meaningful error message.

You could enable Joomla debug as well, just in case this error isn't caused by Kunena.
Did you get a more meaningful message with the debug mode?

Important! Always create a backup before you make any changes to your website!

I'm not sure if this is related, but I thought it might be helpful to mention.

I've found that when we perform a fresh install of Kunena 6.3.8 and Joomla 5.2.3, and use Helix Ultimate Version 2.1.1, the default 'Forum' main menu for Kunena is not visible.
I had to create a new one for it to show up in the menu. However, everything works well with Cassiopeia.

This issue did not occur in previous versions when using Helix Ultimate 2.1.1.

I thought this information might be relevant to our current discussion, but please feel free to disregard it if it is not.

Thanks

Kunena always the best!

Hi all,

the issue has been now solved. I went once again through the description of @rich and applied Step 1 and 2. Furthermore I applied the Kunena diagnosis tool and with that have deleted 4 items in total. The 404 and User ID issue are now gone. Not sure why it worked in the 2nd loop.

Thanks again for all your great help.

Chris
