I recently discovered that after upgrading to the latest version of the forum, after posting a new message, kunena writes "Replies: 1".
The expected behavior is "Replies: 0".

Recalculating the stats doesn't help. What about this problem?

That was a really valuable answer. Do you want to advise me again, Pinkeltje? Thank you, but I would like to hear the opinion of the forum programmers.  And I am ready to provide proof of what I said on the live forum.

Strenge. Not on this forum, nor in my forum

This was a classic example of incorrect extrapolation...

Dear forum members, I really ask you to avoid flud . I am a professional programmer and I am sure of what I am saying. I ask you to understand me correctly, please: I value my time and do not want to waste it.

You can see the problem in this forum topic. And I really need some good advice.

And I have no desire to be scolded here if I want to help. If you are so sure it is a bug, then you should post your question in the right forum section.
And either I misunderstood you, or you didn't explain your problem clearly, but on your forum I see exactly the right number of replies.  If there are no replies, it neatly says 0 replies. And yes, if there is 1 post with 2 replies then it shows 2 replies.

Count is only "wrong" when a reply is not permanently deleted.

I'm speechless.

You can see the problem in this forum topic.

Pinkeltje, can I ask you to ignore my posts? Once again you have made me waste my time on nothing.

I was able to localize the problem. No doubt it's a bug. I've sent a report:

github.com/Kunena/Kunena-Forum/issues/9619

While testing, I discovered another oddity. After deleting any topic, the statistics on the forum front decreases not by 1, but by 2. Tell me, @rich, what do you think about this? Is this another problem of statistics calculation, or I don't understand something?

I'm talking about a different problem. If I delete any topic, even one created by a superadmin, the stats show that the number of topics has decreased by two.
I could be wrong, but it has nothing to do with the problem described.

It's all related to the same problem. If topics are added twice in the statistics, the statistics say that two topics have been deleted, even if in reality only one topic has been deleted.
If the admin now deletes his topic, only another non-existent topic additional is deleted.
I've tested it.

On my test page correct number of Index 39 topics
after approve a topic - Index shows 41 topics (wrong number)
Moderator created a new topic - Index shows 42 topics (wrong number)
Moderator deleted his topic  - Index shows correct 40 topics (two has been deleted)
Now is all correct 39 + 1 approved topic = 40
