Question Any chance of a com_search plugin for K6.1?

I'm preparing to migrate to Joomla 4 and don't want to use Smart Search. I have the com_search plugins working well for com_content and for Fabrik and would like to be able to search Kunena posts using it too. Any chance of a K6 version? Would it be a lot of work?

In Kunena there two plugins for that, if the event is called the plugins should works. Maybe i don't understood exactly, so please give more details

For K5 there was a plugin plg_search_kunena which works with the com_search component. In K6 there are only plugins for com_finder (Smart Search). I don't like Smart Search and will be using the old Search component with the J4 version of my website. There are J4 versions of the search plugin for com_content, com_acym and com_fabrik, but not for com_kunena. Are you not able to provide a J4 version for Kunena?

I think i see what you mean, this is this plugin github.com/Kunena/Kunena-Addons/tree/K6.0/plugins/search/kunena that you are talking about but it hasn't been updated

Thanks. Does it need a lot of work to update it? I put the files into a zip and it seemed to install ok, but it doesn't work.
