Kunena 7.0.11 & Kunena 6.4.16 – Security Updates Released and K7.1 in RC1 2
The Kunena team has announce the arrival of three simultaneous security release : K6.4.16, K7.0.11 and K7.1 RC2. Just a reminder K6.4.16 receives only securities fixes untill end of 2026, so it's advised for users to upgrade to K7.0.11. K7.0.11 is the last release of the K7.0 because it's replaced by K7.1 branch with the stable release in the corner. The translations for K7.1 on crowdin.com/project/kunena-forum-7-1 needs to be checked or improved becasue it has been generated by TM (Translation Machine).
Important Problem with "Kunena - Login module"
Strange effect with the login module. If I use the module to log in and then out, no problem, works just like the Joomla module.
This is where it gets strange: Login via the forum and then logout via the module and I get this stranhe message: "Es wurde eine Information in älterer Form aus einer anderen Sitzung eingegebe". This does not happen if I use the Joomla module. I can login anywhere I want and log out also, without getting a errormessage.
The problem is most definately wthin the KUNENA Login module!

I added a new new user via the backend (ADMIN) and now get the same message when trying to log in via the forum login.

I have been cleaning both JOOMLA and FireFox cache before each test. All of a sudden it is working... Tried it again and the problem is back...
    Tried it again and the problem is back!!!
Logged in via the forum login and got "the message". Now I can't log out with KUNENA login. JOOMLA login will let me at least log out...

But, isn't it important to have caching turned on?

The Kunena Login module is not particularly useful, in my opinion, and it has had a long history of unreliability. I was surprised when the development team released Kunena Login 3.1 because I cannot see any substantive difference between this latest release and the previous (KL 3.0.1) release. As far as I am aware, the Kunena add-ons are offered on an "as-is" basis, that is to say that if there are any major problems then the team may not necessarily be able to attend to them.Elnablo wrote: Seems to work every time, if caching is turned off.

Even though I have not used the Kunena Login module on any of my websites, I am intrigued by your observation about caching. I asked a question about caching concerning another Kunena add-on over three weeks ago and I still have not received a response from the developers. So, while your question about caching is intriguing, you may be the "only one that has this [issue]". I don't have the answers; I'm only trying to help.
I can't understand why the Kunena Login module gives you (and no-one else, apparently) an error message but perhaps this topic may help: You have entered information in an outdated form. Please refresh the page and try again
