Kunena 6.4.9 & Kunena 7.0.1 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.4.9 [K 6.4.9] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.0.x/5.1.x/5.2.x/5.3.x/5.4.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.4

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.1 [K 7.0.1] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.0.x/5.1.x/5.2.x/5.3.x/5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Important note: Go to the Kunena Dashboard after an upgrade so that the Kunena database tables are also updated. This is particularly necessary for major version jumps so that the table changes are adapted.

Kunena 3.0.6 update fails - Update path does not exist was created by greeners
When I attempted the current update of Kunena 3.0.6, on my Joomla 2.5 site (straight from the site control panel) I get the following errors returned to the Extensions Manager:

"Unable to open archive"
"Update path does not exist"

And an information message:

"Error updating COM_INSTALLER_TYPE_TYPE_."

Any ideas?

This problem usually occurs when there is no enough permissions. If you have checked your permissions and yet the same thing happens, it might be the server settings.

Almost the same errors:

JLIB_FILESYSTEM_ZIP_UNABLE_TO_OPEN_ARCHIVE
JLIB_INSTALLER_ERROR_NOTFINDJOOMLAXMLSETUPFILE
Pad heeft geen geldig pakket.

Serverconfiguration is ok. Language pack installed without problems BTW.

download kunena. and install it by joomla installer.
