Kunena 7.0.6 & Kunena 6.4.12 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.6 [K 7.0.6] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the twelfth version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

Joomla-Website www.seniorbern.ch with possibility of subscriptions for the user.

Kunena 3.0.6

Since about 10 days the subscritions-tool is producing a mail without any mail-adress for every posting in the forum.

The storing of a posting in the forum itself is confirmed at the screen by message "Could not instantiate mail function" (like in screenshot-1).

The mail sended by subscription-tool seems to have no mail-adress, because the response of the mailer-deamon is

The attached mail at this error-mail is the normal announcing-mail produced by the subscription-tool.

When I put my own mail-adress in the last configuration-field of subscriptions-tool "sichtbarer E-Mail-Empfänger" I'll receive a subscribtion-mail for every posting in the forum, but no more error-mails. My role is master/responsible for the forum.

You need to check your Joomla! mail settings, do-you have modified something recently in your settings ?

I need support.
I have a problem for a while now and no way to repair it. The problem is the url that users are automatically subscribed sent to a topic. The url is not correct because it sends them to a part of the forum does not correspond with the thread which received the url.
