Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

Hello,

We have an installation of Kunena Version: 3.0.6 on Joomla! 3.3.6.

We want to allow Anonymous posts at the users discretion.

When a Chrome or FirFox user posts, they can toggle from posting Anonymous or their name.

Hover Internet Explorer users cannot post with their name, their posts are always Anonymous.

Is there a fix for this or an idea on why IE users have this issue?

I just tried with ie11. That is working normal. Can you paste here your kunena report.

Also try to update IE to the lasted version. which version did you use?

Hello,

The client got back to me this morning. It appear to happen with IE 9 and earlier.

I'm thinking that these versions of IE are just not support.

I know they said that many of there viewers on older equipment or at the mercy of their IT policies.

this version of kunena 3.0.x should work with < ie8

Maybe its a conflict with a addon. But I can't test that.

So in a clean install environment it should work with IE8 or higher, allow both Anonymous Postings and named postings?

What Kind of conflict would I look for? That sound like a general protection fault. ;-)
