Kunena 7.0.2 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.2 [K 7.0.2] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.3.x/5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

Hi there,

it's me again. Thanks to your help, I've fixed all the formatting issues but testing the forum, but if I try to post a messagge (object "test", message body the same "test"), I get the following error:

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ' 'test')' at line 1 SQL=INSERT INTO jos25_kunena_messages_text (mesid, message) VALUES (, 'test')

It seems that there is not associated value to the "mesid" (index?) field.

Any idea?

@ponyack: Where do I start?

The wrong collation type used in the database tables?
The broken Joomla menu?
The conflicting forum integration plugin settings?
The outdated version of Joomla?
... or the outdated and unsupported version of Kunena that you're using?

I would say that the first thing you should do is update Joomla, then disable the forum integration plugins that you do not need, then fix up your database tables and use the same collation type, then trash and burn your Joomla menu and use the standard Kunena menu and then upgrade to K 3.0.5 and then see if you have any problems after you've done all of those things.
