Hi have a question. In my forum, I have set CAPTCHA Challenge for users : 0
This should means when a registered user answers to a post, no captcha is used.
However, for a specific user Captcha is shown (but for other users not).

What triggers this ?

thanks for any help!

that's strange, try to sync users, I don't think it will work, but we can try it.

backend - kunena - tools -sync users - select all users - click on sync

You have this configuration setting:

Configuration » Security » Security Settings » Allow Guests to Post/Write = Yes

I also see that you have the settings

Configuration » Security » Security Settings » CAPTCHA Challenge for Guests = No

Configuration » Security » Security Settings » CAPTCHA Challenge for Users = 0

I agree with 810: I also think this is strange. Theoretically there should be no CAPTCHA challenge for guests or registered users. Perhaps using the Synchronising users feature will work.

Hi,

just noticed that for the user that gets the Catchpa, I also need to conform posts.
While for regular registered users, this is not necessary. So looks like there is something special with this user ...

Look at the joomla user manager, and find the user. Then check if the user is assigned to Registered group.
