Question Posts dont show properly after deleting/moved

If I move a post or delete a post the next post in line sticks as the latest post when you come to the forum.
For example I moved a post in my General section to elsewhere, the next newest post shows as the latest post in that forum now.

Now when I click on the General forum it clear is not the latest.

When I go to the main forum page it does show NEW POSTS and whatever, but it will always show the Tornado one. Any ideas ? Getting tonnes of complaints about it :|

After a few dozen readings of these two sentences and the accompanying pictures I am not sure I understand the question.

First things first: let's get the terminology straightened out. Where you use the word forum we prefer the term category; section has a very specific meaning, too, in the Kunena context. It is not possible to have topics within a section. The terms are defined in Sections, Categories, sub-Categories (Part 1) .

When you look at the category index, the topics are listed in order of when they were last "updated" (i.e. when there was a message posted to them) in reverse chronological sequence starting with the most-recently updated topic at the top of the index. (Sticky topics remain at the top of the list but, even then, if you have two or more sticky topics within a category, the one that was updated most recently will be listed at the very top of a category index).

When a person posts a message in a topic then this topic will "move" to the top of the category index. If you remove that message from that topic then the topic will revert back to its former place within the category. Do you understand so far?

If we both agree that this is the way that Kunena works (and has always worked in the several years that I have used it) then that's good and you can explain this to those in your forum who are complaining. But if something different is happening then I don't quite understand it from the images or narrative that you provided in your question.

One other possibility that is going to complicate the way things operate on your website. You have a menu called "Forum" in your top menu that points to an outdated reference and conflicts with the menu item called "Forum" in your mainmenu menu. Remove the menu item from your top menu or create a new alias menu item to replace the outdated one.

If I totally misunderstood your question, my apologies. Perhaps you could explain what you meant in another way. :)

Yeah when I re-read it its confusing too.
When I go to the forum (clanwta.com/forum) main page I have a section called "General Disussion". From the screenshot below you can see it shows Tornado being the latest topic in that section.

Basically there was a post in there and I deleted it, leaving Tornado as the next one. When there is a new post made in that category it still shows Tornado as the latest post. When I click on the General Discussion category you can see here there is two more posts since the Tornado one was made.

I need to have it when I visit the main forum page to show the latest topic in the Category instead of the Tornado one.

Ive cleared the cache to see if that will help, outside of that I have no clue what to do. Its like when a new topic is posted there is the NEW symbol beside that category but it shows Tornado, you have to go into the Category to see what the new topic or post is.

You have a section or you have a category? When I go to your forum I can't find a section (or a category) called "General Discussion" anywhere. So, knowing where to look (for me) is a good first step.

Screenshots are helpful but it's just not the same as "being there" is it?
