Important Problems With Search Engine Friendly URLs

Hello,

Iam having problems with my site when ever I activate Search Engine Friendly URLs through joomla or through sh404sef. Iam getting a 404 white screen, I tried every method under sh404sef. I created a .htaccess file, upgraded to joomla 1.5.22, got the latest Kunena. With all this I have not been able to succeed.

If anyone can give advise I would be happy.

If we put sh404sef out of the equation, I disabled that completely as well testing the outcome. I was working with joomla.seo I was still encountering the same problems. Like I mentioned before whatever I tried didn't work. Is there any thing you can recommend, with joomlaseo

Have you got a cache enabled there? and is your .htaccess file done correct?

I had disabled Sh404sef, but i will uninstall it completely and let you know the results sozzled..

And sorry Mortti, what do you mean by did I setup the .htaccess correctly? Is there different ways of setting it up?
