Question aup point problem and activity in jomsocial

Hi there

Activity notification is set to jomsocial in Kunena because I need the activity stream shout in jomsocial...

Then no points are given to the user...

How can I give points to the user AND shout in jomsocial activity...

CAn anybody help !

As far as I know, this is impossible to do with Kunena1.6.

I asked a similar question a few weeks ago and was told that it would be possible to select activity intregration with AUP and Jomsocial in Kunena 2.0.

But the thing is. If you set "Activity Notifications" to jomsocial it shout on the jomsocial activity stream.

AND

If you set "Activity Notifications" to Alphauserpoints it gives point to the users according to the rules allready in alphauserpoint...

I`m not a programmer, but it seems to me, that if you somewhere change the code in kunena from an ELSE statement to a AND statement, you would be able to BOTH shout to jomsocial and let AUP give points. :blush:

Maybe there´s a clever guy on the forum, that would give a hand with this.


The rules allready in AUP for kunena is:

Assigns points when a user posts a new topic in Kunena

Assigns points when a user posts a reply in Kunena

Assigns points to user when he give Thank You some another users in Kunena forum (that feature have too be enableb from Kunena forum settings before)

Assigns or remove points when a user delete a post in Kunena forum

and then comes the question: When dows 2.0 come out.....

Just to clarify, theres a lot of components today that supports both actions, as they see it as being 2 completly different actions. one is shouting, and the other is giving points... easyblog,ari quiz,geommunity,community polls, - many components support this.

Maybe we should go around in another way. and ask if somebody can find where in the code this selector is, and see if we can twist the code a bit.

I would guess for the right person, it would take 5min to change...

That's not a bad idea.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure I read somewhere kunena 2.0 is 3 months off.
