Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Topics must relate to a currently supported version of Kunena. If you are unsure what is the current supported version of Kunena, please go to the download page.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

while testing around with image properties I came across a small other issu.

when deactivating a main category (but not explicite the subcategories) the forum doesn't show them all - that's fine,
BUT
you will see the newer entries of a not deactived subcategory if switching to "Recent topics".

is this as it should be??

ok, as I'm logged in as superadmin I always see the topics (also if the subcat is disabled),
but when disabled the topics are colored like "deleted" style und if only the maincategory
is disabled the topics looks normal.

now, just checked as basic user and it is what I have said:
if only the main-category is disabled the topics of an enabled subcategory are shown in recent

to hide these topics the subcategory must be disabled too

It has always been this way.
The “Folder” subcategory does not appear in the index because the parent category is missing, but you can still access the posts via the URLs or the “Current Topics” section.
The settings for the main category are not applied to the subcategories. This means that if you restrict access to an entire category to members, you must also do these settings to each subcategory.

Important! Always create a backup before you make any changes to your website!
