Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Topics must relate to a currently supported version of Kunena. If you are unsure what is the current supported version of Kunena, please go to the download page.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

After creating the test page to find the uddeim error, I noticed afterwards that the modules/plugins on the start page had English text.
I created a new test page with K6.4.8 (without uddeim). Everything on the start page is in German.
Then I installed K7.0 with the Joomla updater (without language file) and got the following error on the start page:
The requested page can't be found.
An error has occurred while processing your request.

After I installed the language file, I had access to the home page, but all the texts in the modules/plugins were in English; only the login module had German text

What do you mean by this?

but all the texts in the modules/plugins

Is your entire forum in English now? Just tested with Dutch and German and my entire site is in the language as set in language manager.

The behavior of the installation is strange.
I created a new test page and installed Kunena 7 with the language file. The text from the “visitor counter” and “who is online” was in English.
When I tried to log in on the home page, I got this error message.
On the admin page, I clicked on the Kunena dashboard and the database was updated.
I refreshed the home page and was able to log in without any problems. The texts were back in German.

Addendum:
It seems to be due to the database.
If the database is not updated, some of the text on the home page is in English.
Once the database has been updated, the text is back in German.
I don't understand the connection.

Please explain:

I created a new test page and installed Kunena 7 with the language file.

Fresh Joomla installation where you installed Kunena? Then the error message makes sense.

I actually only work with a backup of my Lifesite.
The Lifesite is Joomla 6.0.2 and Kunena 6.4.8
I just noticed again that the texts are in English when I am not logged in. When I log in, the texts are in German. When I log out, they are in English again.
This only happens with K7.0; with K7RC3, everything is normal.
