Is there a Menu Module for Kunena? was created by OldCharlie
I'm thinking of using a menu module extension for Joomla and wondering if it will also work with Kunena. Is there a menu extension that you recommend using with Kunena Discuss?
The one I'm thinking of using or buying is JoomlaCK MaxiMenu. I don't know if there are better one available or not.

Kunena discuss is a plugin so there is no menu for it. Kunena Forum has it's own menu. What is the reason for using a menu-extension? Do you want something you can't do with the default menu?

I only want to know what my options are. I am competing with a WordPress Site that has lots of fancy menus. See at llhoa.org It does not have a forum, and I wonder if the WordPress Forums are better or not?

This is not related to Kunena, but, instead of spending money you might have a look at the free
Helix Ultimate template
. Except for the super fancy menu effect, it has I think everything you want. I really don't know if Wordpress has a forum plugin, because I never use Wordpress as it is very unsafe.

Thanks for bringing the Helix Ultimate Template to my attention. Because Helix has its own Joomla Installer on its free download, I have to create a new URL and install the Helix package without Joomla preinstalled. That's because Helix is not a Joomla Extension.
So now the problem is that my Kunena forum has already been created and installed on my original production and development sites.
Is there a way to copy and paste or migrate the Kunea Forum and Kunena Discuss to the new site created with Helix? This is not to mention that I've already made the Joomla site. Now it seems I must rebuild the entire website to use Helix. Is this true?
