Kunena 6.2.5 & module Kunena Latest 6.0.7 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.2.5 [K 6.2.5] which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.3.x/4.4.x/5.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.1 / K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.2

Topics must relate to a currently supported version of Kunena. If you are unsure what is the current supported version of Kunena, please go to the download page.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

Hi Team,
in forum I wanted to upload a pdf file with less than 10MB. Max allowed file size is 14MB. I renamed the file, I tried as super admin and as registered user. both ways did not work. I changed htacces which was mentioned in the forum but which sounds strange to me.

Here is my report. The forum is only for registered users.

shall I send you access as registered user or super admin somehow?

Does it work with other attachments like zip files? I see in their configuration report the strange value Max execution memory: -1 in the server configuration.

Hi Rich,
I compressed it down to 700kb. and it worked. But in Kunena frontend it says that we can upload up to 14MB. So why did it not accept 10MB?

Did you get a message like "Attachment file size exceed limit allowed by configuration"? If not, then the upload was not yet finished. I tested it with a file of similar size. 10 MB is very big. The upload time was 64 seconds.

...no i didnt receive this kind of message. the message was short: "no file was uploaded!" this message came after around 8 seconds. you mean that something went wrong with max. execution time? in system infos the max execution is 50000; upload max filesize 64M

Yes, that's correct but the execution memory is -1. I'm not sure if your problem is caused by this wrong value, but it' possible.

Hi Rich,

I have increased the memory limit now to
memory_limit = 256M
session.auto_start = on
upload_max_filesize = 128M
max_input_vars = 128M
max_execution_time = 300

still it does not work....I am waiting for another answer from the hoster
