White dropdowns & gray lettering was created by Dragon41673
Hello,
Need a little help as my webmaster is in the hospital. Please see the attached photo, this is an example of 3 issues, all the same problem.
I have white dropdown boxes w/gray lettering & I cannot figure out how to change them to black boxes w/white lettering. The problem was in all boxes, but my webmaster changed some...then ended up in the hospital. Please help me figure this out.
3 sections I'm having this issue are...
Search Tab (screen shot attached).
Global Settings area in the "Edit Profile" section.
Forum Settings area in the "Edit Profile" section.
Thank you in advances...

G'day, Dragon41673, and welcome to Kunena.
The issues that you are having are caused by your Joomla site template. I suggest, in the first instance, that you read My Joomla site template makes a mess of Kunena . The solution is fairly straightforward if you have any understanding of how CSS works and if you use easy-to-use tools like Firebug for Firefox.
If, however, your Joomla site template developer is unable to assist you and if you lack the skill yourself to identify and solve the cause of the problem, there are many people who can assist you on a fee-for-service basis. This is a community-driven, self-help forum where our task is to try to put people in touch with the way to go about solving problems.
In summary, use Firebug and, with one or two mouse-clicks, find the cause of the problem yourself. Alternatively, ask for professional help to fix the problems caused by your Joomla site template developer's design. This is not really a problem that is caused by Kunena; this is a problem affecting how Kunena works on your site.

No problem. My guess is that this could be solved by you (if you have the skill) in a few minutes. If you contract with a professional to help you then you need to be aware that the solution requires both the time it takes to familiarise someone else with the problem and then the time it takes to work through it. As we all know, time is money. Good luck.

I think I could fix it, but looking through the template manager & the specifics on the template of the forum that is being used, it's just not readily available. I don't have firefox, and would rather not "have" to install it to fix this, but if I must, I will. Is there anything like Firebug to fix this using chrome or IE9?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Chrome has built-in developer's tools like Firebug; IE9 also has some tools but they're not as easy to use as Firebug in my opinion.
