Kunena 6.2.6 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.2.6 [K 6.2.6] which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.1 / K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.2

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

K 2.0 support will cease on 31 August 2013 and this section of the forum will be closed and archived after that time and no further questions will be answered about this version.

Hi all,

I'm using kunena 2.0.4 with blue eagle 2.0 template. To post on my forum, users need to be logged. When they logg on forum, they are redirected to the home page.

I want they stay on the same page.

I habn't try this solution dated from 2009 ( www.kunena.org/forum/144-hacks-tricks-an...978-own-kunena-login )

Thanks and sorry for my english

We may be able to resolve this matter faster if we could see your Kunena configuration report. Thanks.

It helps to know what you mean by "when [my users] log on to forum", what it is that your people are using to login to the forum. You posted your question in the K 2.0 General Questions category and so I assumed you were talking about the forum login form shown below:

The login form, shown above, does not do any redirection. If people login using the form above, they should remain on the same page as where they entered the information and pressed the Login button.

If, however, people are using the Kunena Login module - and as your configuration report shows you have the Kunena Login module installed - then this is a different question. Here is a picture of how the Kunena Login module appears:

So this is the question: what are we discussing? Are we discussing a problem with the login form (see the first image) or the login module (see the second image)?

Hi sozzled,

Users are using the forum login you show, not the Kunena Login module. And when they they entered the information and pressed the Login button, they are redirected on home page. On your forum, I have the same issue, when I login, i'm redirected on home page I don't understand.

i cannot reproduce this at K.org, sorry.

Try this experiment: logout and then go to www.kunena.org/forum/K-2-0-General-Quest...redirect-after-login ... Now login again and tell us the URL of the page you are returned to after being logged in. When I do that experiment, I and returned to www.kunena.org/forum/K-2-0-General-Quest...redirect-after-login
