No this is not correct. Please read Does Kunena require the Mootools Upgrade plugin? . There is no Mootools "upgrade" plugin for J! 2.5.

We cannot help you more because we do not have any real information about your site. I have asked you, twice, to read carefully and follow the instructions given in What information should I include when I ask for help (including how to post my configuration report)? . Don't worry: I never repeat a question more than once. If we had your configuration report we may be able to offer you better advice.

The "menu" you are referring to (it's not actually a menu) is a little different in K 2.0 to what it was in K 1.7 but what is displayed (or, more importantly what is not displayed) is affected by your Joomla environment. If we knew more about your Joomla environment we may be able to help you better. Your configuration report is a start to helping us understand more about your environment.

Have you searched the forum for topics with "cannot change avatar" in the topic title? You may find the answer you are looking for there.

Please read again, very carefully, What information should I include when I ask for help (including how to post my configuration report)? . There is a link there to our documentation Wiki site which shows you how to generate your configuration report. There's an option for doing this from your Kunena control panel in the backend.

As you see, from your configuration settings, you have enabled all options of all Kunena plugins.

This is what your configuration report shows:

Kunena integration settings:
Kunena - AlphaUserPoints Enabled: activity=1 avatar=0 profile=1 activity_points_limit=0
Kunena - Community Builder Enabled: access=1 login=1 activity=1 avatar=0 profile=1 private=1
Kunena - Gravatar Enabled: avatar=1
Kunena - JomSocial Enabled: access=1 login=1 activity=1 avatar=0 profile=1 private=1 activity_points_limit=0 activity_stream_limit=0
Kunena - Joomla Enabled: access=1 login=1
Kunena - Kunena Enabled: avatar=1 profile=1
Kunena - UddeIM Enabled: private=1

  • Because you do not have AlphaUserPoints installed, you can disable all options that relate to that component.
  • Because you are not using Community Builder, you can disable all those options, too
  • Because you are not using JomSocial, you can disable all those options as well
  • Because you are not using uddeIM, you can disable all those options, likewise.
  • Which now brings use to Gravatar. If you do not know how to integrate with Gravatar, try disabling that options and see if you can then see if you change your avatar with Kunena.
