Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

1.7.1 to 1.7.2 upgrade 500 error was created by prophoto
I've been trying for two weeks to get my kunena install upgraded to 1.7.2. I've gone through all of the docs 3 times. Every time I install 1.7.2 I get a 500 error and I can't login to the backend at all. I have to restore a backup to get it running again. I've tried installing over the old and uninstalling/reinstalling with the same result.

In don't have any errors until I try to upgrade...I've turned on debug and dont' see any frontend or backend....am I looking in the right place for the debug output?

go to frontend and to the forum. if its good. then you see a blank page with a error message.

Or go your php error log. (Hosting panel, like plesk or other panel)

Yes. Admin is hosed with 500 error after I try installing 1.7.2 via extension manager, every time.
