Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

Kunena 6.0 has been designed to work on Joomla! 4.1...

Introduction:

The Kunena team is thrilled to announce the second public release candidate of Kunena 6.0, a native Joomla extension for Joomla 4.x. This is a development release and should be only be used for testing; this version is not recommended for live websites at this stage.

The purpose of this release is to encourage testing by downloading, installing and identifying any problems or shortcomings that people may discover. K 6.0.0 RC2 is stable and we are aware that people will discover defects. We encourage you to use the forum to report defects, as soon as they are discovered, so that the development team can work through the problems before the release of K 6.0 as a stable product. Reporting defects does not mean that the problems can or will be fixed. The Kunena team is looking forward to hearing your feedback on how well we have achieved our design goals.

This RC2 has some changes to make working the discuss plugin for K6.0 and module latest for K6.0 which has been released in same time. This RC2 is meant to test the update process wit Joomla! updater from RC1 to RC2 and to improve translations.

We are encoutering some issues in transifex with two backend files com_kunena.ini and com_kunena.views.ini, the content of this two files was reverted it has been fixed a first time ealier in the day. Then the content has been reverted a new time in the afternoon, it has been fixed a new time.
Please check this translation for these files again, the source text is now corrected.
We apologize for this error especially to the translators who had already translated these two files to 100%.
