Hey Guys love the website it is clear, modern and user friendly. Love the new Kunena Version also it all fits so needly together. Too bad that I have to report a slight bug!

Somehow there is a conflict between the Gantry 5 template used on this website and the Kunena Component. As not all the icons are showing up. I described a solution in this forum post already: www.kunena.org/forum/k5-0-support/138244...n-gantry-5-templates

When looking further on this website I saw that you guys added this code:
Code:
tr .span1 [class^='icon-']::before, tr .span1 [class*=' icon-']::before { font-family: Fontawesome !important; }

This to make the FontAwesome icons to show up but this creates the problem that the Icomoon icons no longer work. I believe that if you delete this code and use my solution then both the Icomoon & FontAwesome will work.

Please don't take this as "This wise ass thinks he knows it better" but as "my very little contribution to Kunena". Thanks.

Perhaps using a stronger selector (mentioning more DOM elements gives more precedence) and removing the important statement might work out best for both cases.

Like I said in the Link from the first post:

Solution
A very simple solution is to add the below code to your custom.scss file in the Gantry 5 Template.
Code:
[class^="fa-"]:before, [class*=" fa-"]:before { font-family: 'FontAwesome'; }

So yeah other selector and no !important.

In the heading for Category "Official Announcements and News about Kunena" is says:

We encourage everyone to subscribe to this category to receive important news about new releases, etc. by email.

This is what I did, and for that reason I get several emails a day because people keep posting replies to the topic "New website released!".
That is, replies that are NOT a part of Official Announcements!

Why is it so difficult to post your questions and problems in a different category? Why is it that people seem to believe that it is perfectly ok, to just continue to make this thread longer and longer with questions that are irrelevant to a post in "Official Announcements" category?

And even more, why is it, that no moderator has blocked this thread long ago ?
