Hi folks, I want to make one Kunena Menu tab, just show when the member is logged off, and after the member log-in, I'd like to make it dissapear.

Is that possible? How to achieve that?

Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately that's not possible in Joomla 1.5 / Kunena 1.6. I have hoped to have something like this for ages.. Joomla 1.6 will allow this, I believe.

In Kunena 1.5 it is possible to do this, but changing tabs = manual coding task.

Hey Matias, thanks for your reply. So, I'd assume that it is possible also into Kunena 1.6 Beta2? Do you know some link to some thread with this coding task or would have time to put this coding task here?
Thanks.

It is possible to hide menu items in Joomla 1.6, yes. The only problem in J1.6 is that Kunena does not yet have all the features up and working when using the newest beta.

I see, thanks. Matias, changing a little bit the subject, you may be using the J1.6, right? Let me ask you, they are in Beta 7, and once it is a beta version they advice that it is not intended to run any type of production site, but what do you think? Is it in a stage/level that I would use in my site as production site or is it better to wait a little more?

I've not checked J1.6 lately, but I believe that they do not yet have any conversion tools to go from J1.5 to J1.6. And Kunena doesn't have one either, as some parameters are saved in different way.
