Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

This category contains miscellaneous, uncategorised third-party extensions (e.g. JomSocial, Community Builder, etc.) relating to older versions of Kunena that are no longer supported.

This category may also contain a few topics relating to K 1.6 that may have been moved here possibly by mistake.

The topics in this category are for historical interest only. Owing to the structural differences between K 1.6 and K 1.7, the ideas in these topics may not work with later versions and, for that reason, the topics are locked.

Hi everyone

Is there a private messaging component that actually works with the Kunena forum? I tried installing clexus but had errors when trying to load it. Is there anything else that works?

which works very well with Kunena.

clexus has long been abandoned, in fact we're even thinking of dropping it...
UddeIM works perfectly, and is a project still in development

Jomsocial PM does work also in kunena

funny, clexus still works perfectly on my end (with kunena integration).

However, if you decided to abandone it, go on. Im OK with present version of kunena (using clexus + kunena on a small site).

Thanks for the info and I was able to install both the com_uddeim and the mod_uddeim successfully. The issues I am now having are the pop up box to notify the user and the email notification. Neither seem to be working although I have set the settings accordingly. I know the mail system is working as notifications are sent when posting in the forum. Can anyone explain why I may be getting these issues. Attached is a picture of my settings.
