Kunena 7.0.6 & Kunena 6.4.12 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.6 [K 7.0.6] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the twelfth version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

This category contains miscellaneous, uncategorised third-party extensions (e.g. JomSocial, Community Builder, etc.) relating to older versions of Kunena that are no longer supported.

This category may also contain a few topics relating to K 1.6 that may have been moved here possibly by mistake.

The topics in this category are for historical interest only. Owing to the structural differences between K 1.6 and K 1.7, the ideas in these topics may not work with later versions and, for that reason, the topics are locked.

We will soon provide an API that will allow these things without a hack.

We love stars on the Joomla Extension Directory . :-)

[file] I created a hack to display "more" in the activities stream. Basic activity just shows what the activity type is and not the comment / description. If you are creating an API for this, it would be lovely if you allowed for an intro to be included in the activity aswell to give it a facebook look. See this thread

Some notes / requests about the "API".
- write both the userid and the target userid, if appropriate,
- write to the CID field
- write to the contents field

The ideal situation would allow the admin and user the option to include or exclude the amount of information to show on the activity stream - but this is more the JS side not the Kunena side.
