Kunena 7.0.4 Released
The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0
Question Phpbb3 migration
I am trying to move over to Kunena from phpbb3, I am wondering how much longer it might be until the conversion tool for 1.6 is ready.
I do know about the fireboard route, but would rather wait till a tool for 1.6 is available so I can do it cleanly rather than having to install other pieces of unnesecary software.
Any info at all would be great, Im not looking for an exact date just a guestimate.

The only piece of info I am looking for is when a conversion script will be available to convert phpbb3 3.0.8 directly to Kunena 1.6
However thanks for the reply anyway, I do appreciate it.

Editing go.php
// Joomla database prefix
$joomla_dbprefix = "jos_";
Is that right? Or i have to change it to "jos_fb_" ?

I asked the developers the other day about this question of developing a "forum migration" component for "Brand-X-to-Kunena".Carsten- wrote: I am trying to move over to Kunena from phpbb3, I am wondering how much longer it might be until the conversion tool for 1.6 is ready.
I was informed that, while the basic design of the component has been put in place, the remaining work to complete the task has stalled because of non-availability of resources. What is required at this time is for a programmer to be engaged, to work on this task, and to pay that person for their time. I don't remember the ball-park figure that was mentioned but I understand it is in the order of a few thousand dollars. That's the current state-of-play as I understand it and I may have misunderstood the information I received (so please don't take what I've written as an official response). I'm just trying to provide you with an update.
