Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Question Search Plugin does not work

Hi there,

I am using Kunena 1.6.1 in a Joomla 1.5.22 Installation.
I tried to install the current search plugin plg_kunenasearch_v1.6.0-RC2_b94 in the Joomla backend and it seemed to be installed OK but as a matter of fact, its not working at all.

When trying to uninstall it, I get a message saying "Plugin Uninstall: Manifest File invalid or not found"

Is there any fix for this issue or does anybody have the same problem.

BTW: The search function of this forum also seems not to work for me. I tried to search for the terms "search plugin" but the result is an empty page. Here is the URL:

Do you have if there is a xml file in the archive ?
Maybe the archive is corrupted try to re-download it with firefox ?
