Kunena 6.2.6 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.2.6 [K 6.2.6] which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.1 / K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.2

Topics that are moved into this category are generally considered to be closed. Users may want to add additional information but these topics should not be resurrected in order to discuss new problems or unrelated matters.

I would like to show a module in my sidebar in Joomla with recent topics from forums. How can I do this??

Hi,

You need to download and install: mod_kunenalatest1.6

Go to our download page and follow the link to joomlacode for extension.

Install it and configure to your liking. Make sure you publish it on the page and in the template position of your choice and enable it.

yes - the most recent version of most of our extensions is rc2 and it works fine with newer Kunena releases.

We will update them as soon as we close out some remaining Kunena issues.

Thanks! I installed it...One issue. On unread posts, the mod displays this next to topic: MOD_KUNENALATEST_PARAM_UNREADINDICATOR_DEFAULT I assume its supposed to display text or an image next to unread topics.

I tried to change/remove that text in the mod editor, but it keeps defaulting to that and that text shows up next to topic in the mod when its displayed.

Any idea how to fix this

This is a Kunena language file problem.

What language are you using? Looks like that Kunena language is missing that string.
