This is not the same problem as the "number thingy" topic which has been resolved. This topic has therefore been split from the other one in order to avoid confusion. The original topic has been locked because of the likelihood it will be hijacked again.

Unfortunately your fix did not help ((. I'll try to explain the problem more clear (to my post, I attach the screenshots):
1. If there is not a comment on the article that shows the quick reply form (pic 1).
2. If you add it, everything becomes normal (pic. 2)
3. If you remove it in the basket (pic.3), it becomes as the pic. 4

Yes, I just fixed the issue (to 1.6.5).

I have fixed the issue of showing nothing or only a link to discussion (link is not shown if topic doesn't exist).
