Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Topics that are moved into this category are generally considered to be closed. Users may want to add additional information but these topics should not be resurrected in order to discuss new problems or unrelated matters.

I have been flying through the internet all day trying to do this on 1&1 hosting and I can't install either version. I get all these errors when I try installing it

Sorry about your issues. I don't see any of the errors you are referring to in your post. Can you please add them to the thread (text or even better screenshot). Without more details nobody around here will be able to help you.

So, you have tried to install both kunena 1.5 and kunena 1.6 with no success ?

I think the files are corrupted, try install by directory directly.
I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

I was also told to add Add x-mapp-php5.php to the .htaccess file and it would fix it but it gave me: Error 500 - Internal server error An internal error has occurred! Please try again later.

I tried another that a guy gave me in another forum but it had one word in front of ADD. That gave me Error 500 please contact you Apache server master.

Yes I tried 1.5 first and it didn't work tried everything they said, then 1.6 and same thing. I'll try the direct approach.
