Kunena 7.0.4 Released
The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0
Important Which are the system requirements for the Kunena 1.6?
Haven't see any in release news or in documentation pages it? (even I know something about requirements)
It just not enought for all users, the information that you have enable System - Mootools Upgrade plugin and you have to be all other extensions compatible with this Joomla! setting/plugin...
So the minimum system requirements from the Kunena 1.6 Developers words are needed (Official Information)
Just my opinion...
Edit: answer for this reduce unnecessary error messages a lot, someone still are/use out of date servers also unfortunately which I have seen in this Joomla! World in these years... also which features there are disabled in some providers... and I will not start talking now about local test servers (just different world if user don't know about them)

I am still writing a technical explanation about Mootools 1.2.4 based on several hours of discussions with the development team and my own research in the subject. I welcome any contributions in completing that activity.
There is no comprehensive list of what is compatible with Mootools 1.2.4 and it's outside the scope of the Kunena project to compile that list. If anyone is aware that such a list exists I am sure there are many people who would also like to know. If in any doubt whether you have components that may be affected by this plugin, please direct your questions to the developers of those Joomla extensions or experiment with the situation using your own test system.

Kunena 1.6 need it's own documentation and its good if system requirements give in every release news... that not take more time than copy and paste system requirements in there.The technical information about all versions of Kunena is contained in the companion Wiki site (docs.kunena.com).
Wiki says for K 1.6 now, when you point me there:
PHP >= 5.2.3
MySQL >= 5.0.0
but MySQL >= 5.0.0...... there are some security risks in MySQL version when look how MySQL is gone forward (never minimum system requirements should be after than security limit... never, we can always check latest 5.x.x from the www.mysql.com/ ) Also heared that should be work with J! 1.5.20 + PHP 5.2.3 + MySQL 4.1.20 also if use basic distro?
And about Mootools 1.2.4 and the System - Mootools Upgrade plugin... that we can talk over night with every one... more easily is to say: Kunena always need this plugin(enabled) so everything work right or as should be work.
There is huge list of components, modules, plugins which not work with this... that is the main thing which confused the users...I think, but there are also people which try in old systems too... when you sozzled try figure out their things you are a magician... as you already are
