Hello, my name is Mihnea, and first i want to thank you for your constant effort for making kunena a better software.

My problem is that after upgrading from 1.5.12 i have no menus and when i click a topic, i see some sort of yahoo page.

My site is www.mihneafiran.ro

I have uddeim last version (2.01), enabled.

I have the module of kunena last topic enabled, but i disable it, because with it will break my site (page blank on index of site).

My forum is in menu, on Info -> Forum.

Thank you.

The current kunenalatest module only works with K1.5 ( this module was not made by teh kunena team and is no longer supported by teh maker )so your will need to uninstall that and wait till the new version made by the kunena project is released in next few days :)

To fix your menu problem go to the admin backend of kunena and click the MAKE MENU button and that should fix your menu. :)

EDIT: just had another look at your site what SEF component are you using? hav you tried diabling that and see if links then work again.

Thank you, i notice now the new kunena menu in menus in joomla.

Ok, i switch the link type in menu to Kunena Forum: Entry Page, and in Parameters (basic) the Default Menu Item to - Index -.

The menu is appearing now. :)

My SEF is that from Joomla administration:

Global Configuration -> Site

SEF URL: yes
Apache mod_rewrite: yes
Add suffix to URL: yes

Ahaa, with SEF URL to no, the forum is working. But why is not working with SEF enabled?

i had this issue with my own site what you need to do is rename the httaccess.txt file to .httaccess in your web root directory and enable mod_rewrite in joomla's global configuration. :) and then it will work.

Thank you Cerberus. Indeed in root was htaccess.txt

I changed to .htaccess and then i enabled SEF again, but unfortunately is the same yahoo page (no link i assume).

So i change back to SEF -> no, mod_rewrite -> yes and add suffix -> yes.
