Hey gang,

I love what you've done with 1.6. That being said, Im using 1.6. I had a forum setup using 1.6 RC2 and then upgraded to 1.6 Stable.

My issue is when I create a Section and put a few Categories in it, the Section appears as a hyperlink. I don't really have an issue with this as it just shows the categories within the section. The issue is, the Sections I created in 1.6RC2 are NOT hyperlinks. This is a small issue because the hyperlinks are blue and the sections that are not hyperlinks are white. It takes away from the smooth and structured look of my forums.

I have tried almost everything, I tried to match the settings identically from the sections that are white (not hyperlinks). I have tried to delete and recreate the ones that are white(not hyperlinks) and have them appear blue(hyperlink). Nothing has seemed to work, as the sections that I delete and recreate (that were from RC2) still appear white (not hyperlinked)

Am I missing something? Is there a setting for this somewhere else? I created these forums a while ago, and recently upgraded when I needed to add a new category.

Please let me know if more information is needed. Thanks in advance for any help. =)

Anyone able to help me with this issue should please check rb23.com and log in with

Then proceed to the forums. You will see the "Feedback" section is a hyperlink while all other sections are not.

I kindly ask for assistance with this issue. Thanks.

What colour would you like the section font to be? Would you like it to be white and, when hover over the link, the font will be underlined ... like here at www.kunena.com ?

Nope. What Im looking for is White text, no hyperlink. This was automatic until I updated to 1.6. Now no matter what I do, the sections I create are hyperlinked. I prefer them not to be hyperlinked and be white. They make the Sections of the forums stand out much better.

Either you have an issue with it or you don't. Sections are hyperlinked so that you can show an index of the categories in each section. That's normal behaviour for Kunena. I don't understand the issue.

I can help with with the blue-coloured font (turn it to white and underline the link when you hover the mouse over it) but I can't help to remove the link.

You need to modify the Kunena template that you're using. You're using the Skinner template. The Skinner template picks up the font colours (including the colours for links) from your site template. As you know, the Skinner template is still a work-in-progress. It's not finalised yet.

I understand I can edit the color of the links via the template. However it is not just this template. This occurs on ALL templates Ive tried, including the default one. The issue here isn't specifically the color of the link. The issue here is that the Section header IS a link. I have 4 other Section headers that are NOT linked and they were all created before updating to Kunena 1.6. I never did anything special when I created them, I just set them as Top Level and that was that. They were not linked and still arent. Only newly created Sections get the hyperlinking.

I reposted this topic under the Support forums but it was removed. Because the auto linking of my Section names happens in any template I figured it would be a Kunena support issue.

I appreciate your suggestions thus far, but Im hoping you can see what I am trying to get across now. The issue isnt the color, the issue is Kunena is making my new Section headers Links.

Thanks again for replying, and thanks in advance for further assistance.
