Question Word Wrap - truncated text

The text in my posts are truncated because of a problem word wrap not working correctly.
Example:

Also the font size is large but I cannot find where to reduce this.

What browser are you using when you see this problem. I did not see any problem using Firefox 5.

Well, that's interesting - I use Firefox - however:
I see that it is OK in Ms Explorer and also in Google Chrome.
The issue my be that I am using Firefox 6.

Ah! The problem is an issue again.

I have upgraded to v7 and I now have width problems for all browsers.
I have set Configuration > Front End > Text Area Width to 300 but is still displays full width - going under the menus on the right.

I cleared the cache in the browser so don't know what to do now

Add the following 3 lines to the end of your Joomla site template CSS file:

Sadly didn't work.
I thought it might be that the template is not v1.7 friendly but the issue exists with the templates installed with this version of Joomla.
