G'day, dknipe, and welcome to Kunena.

You have already identified the problem. Please note, this is a support forum for attending to Kunena problems. This is not the Joomla Bamboo support service .

As you can well imagine, Kunena has been tested with several different templates but it's impossible to test the product with every template developer's products. Our job is to make sure that Kunena will work with the standard templates that are released with Joomla. After that, we'll do our best but we cannot give any assurances.
