Form backgrounds was created by Campaign_Promotions
Hello, I have my forums at campaign-promotions.com/forum/index and have customized them to the best of my ability using the documentation available and forum searches, however I still have a problems that I need assistance in resolving.
The drop down menu's such as forum quick jump and in the search options, are white and unreadable as the text is tan in both IE and Google Chrome. (It displays correctly only in firefox!)
I need to know how I can either change the text color ONLY for these boxes or the background color for them.
Thank you,
Cassandra

I just had a look at your site. Looks fine if you turn on compatibility view in Internet Explorer. Perhaps that would do as a work-around solution. If I remember correctly, if you look in the JED, there are extensions that set this for your entire Joomla Installation - so your users don't have to.
Hope that helps

That work around isn't valid with browser options available. Since it displays correctly only in FF and then IE with a possible work around, what should I do with my visitors that use other browsers such as Chrome?

Well I think the work around is valid. About 60% of my visitors are using IE browsers compared with 5% Chrome - I imagine these sorts of number are typical - could be wrong. So as a quick fix I'd say it was more than valid. You can't please all of the browsers all of the time, but a 60% increase in "browser pleasing" is always good!
Perhaps you should just change your template, or how about using firebug to find the problem code yourself? Or maybe pay a developer - your site looks pretty commercial, so if its a big issue maybe someone can find the funds?
You can get IE and chrome to work with firebug now...a quick google search brought up getfirebug.com
Good luck, sorry I couldn't help you.
