Hi there is a bug in kunena 1.6.3. I can't install on the joomla 1.6.
When i use the zip file with kunena 1.6.3 i got this error: "stopped installation language: There is not a package for the core language [en-GB]"

after i click on install and i got another error: "FAILED Uncaught Exception: Another menu item has the same alias in the Root. The Root is the main level"

after this I saw the language files in kunena and I saw that there is a menu with alias "home"..... lol. The alias home is already used by the home of joomla kunena, so i change it in "Forum home"... but is still not working.
Do you know where is the problem?

Hello,

1°) What is your default Joomla! language ?
2°) Please wait K1.6.4 and Joomla! 1.6.1 to see this issue fixed

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

I had a similar problem with my joomla installation. I was however able to install kunena successfully after switching my default language to English. What I was not able to figure out is changing kunena's default language. Files with the Polish translation (which I use) are installed in administrator/language and /language but no matter what I do I can't get them to work. So for now I'm forced to use English (I did of course set Polish (pl) as the default language in Joomla) Is there any way to work around this?

The only way to get languages to work is to fix them so that they work in Joomla 1.6. That means making them to install and enabling language debug to fix all the listed issues. File can then be sent to [email protected]

Well the thing is I did manage to install it correctly (I've modified the xml file and the files with translations are were they supposed to be after successful installation). Kunena however still keeps to an English version :(
PS. Yes, the translations I used were prepared for the 1.6.3 version.
