Kunena 6.4.7 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.4.7[K 6.4.7] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.0.x/5.1.x/5.2.x/5.3.x/5.4.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.4
Important note: Go to the Kunena Dashboard after an upgrade so that the Kunena database tables are also updated. This is particularly necessary for major version jumps so that the table changes are adapted.

I ran into the following two issues while installing Kunea 1.6. Any assistance would be appreciated. Much thanks in advance.

1) Kunena Notice: Menu item /forum (Itemid=90) does not have Kunena Menu.

2) JFolder::create: Could not create directory

I appreciate the reply but 2) JFolder::create: Could not create directory was not resolved by the link you provided.

What I need is the directory structure and permissions so I can set them correctly please.

Much thanks in advance.

Can-you tell me on which step the kunena install fails ?

It's trying to create the administrator\components\com_kunena , components\com_kunena and media\kunena\

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

Install didn't fail.

I get the following when I click forum at www.tvgrapevine.com/index.php?option=com...=entrypage&Itemid=90

Kunena Notice: Menu item /forum (Itemid=90) does not have Kunena Menu.

Error
JFolder::create: Could not create directory

Error: JFolder::create: Could not create directory when permissions were changed for the following

media\kunena\

This now only leaves me with as a problem.

Kunena Notice: Menu item /forum (Itemid=90) does not have Kunena Menu.

Now I am getting the following

Kunena Notice: Oops. You have conflicting menu items in /forum (same path to Itemid 90 and 141).
Kunena Notice: Menu item /forum (Itemid=90) should have Kunena Forum: Entry Page as its ancestor.

I'm sorry that you're still experiencing a Kunena Menu problem. As I wrote earlier

sozzled wrote: For the first question: see [Merged topic] Kunena Notice: Menu item /forum (Itemid=nnn) does not have Kunena Menu

Please look at what I wrote (particularly my last message in that subject). Thank you :)
