Maybe I explained badly.
A member before posting in the various categories of the forum must be approved by the admin. Only needs to read the whole forum full as guests but can not write until it is approved.

Simply set all categories to "Everybody" but set "Public Read/Write" to "No" (Kunena Config - Security tab). That way everybody can read your forums, but only registered users can post.

No set the Joomla user registration (or any 3rd party solution you are using) to require approval by admin and you should be all set!

Hope this helps!

Since you did have a problem with offline personal information.
When sending your own image 200 100 px in cb profile remains unchanged. When entering the forum avatar is reduced to 70 36 px

Kunena 1.6.0RC2 should be compatible to CB login.

Kunena currently uses thumbnails from CB avatars, as too many people were complaining that the large ones were way too huge.
