Question Menu & Itemid issue...

Im working through the changes made to Kunena and while attempting to upgrade, I ran into an issue with the new menu system and Itemid #'s.

My original Joomla menu for Kunena was #2.

After upgrading to 1.6, the Kunena Menu that was added has an id # of 26 for the first main button.
The forum works until you want to see an individual post or thread, then Kunena attempts to use item id # 25 for some reason.

Took a while to figure out what the issue was and in the process I upgraded or removed everything I could find that could possibly cause issues with K1.6.

I switched my Rockettheme template to one that IS mootools 1.2 compatable.

Uninstalled & reinstalled K1.6, no change, still get blank empty pages from index links.

I had upgraded from K 1.5.11, I now worry the problem was caused from not upgrading to 1.5.12 first.

Deleted my original forum button from my main menu, created a new link to K Entry, still have the same issue of not being able to get past the forum index but now my Kunena menu is missing.

Above link is uselss now and I wont bother posting another that points directly to the forum since i need to get this working asap and I keep trying different solutions.

Blank pages everywhere.../sigh.

I do have the K menu & the module for it is there and has proper settings.

Edit - The blank pages are 500 errors.

For HTTP 500 Internal Server errors, please enable Kunena debug mode (Forum Configuration option) and Joomla debug mode (Global Configuration option)

I get this error with debug mode on:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 177915 bytes) in /var/www/vhosts/vodguild.com/httpdocs/plugins/system/sef.php on line 73

I am not using sef.

It would throw that error for the CB Log-In box so I disabled it from the page, this allows me to get to an actual forum but it still fails when trying to see a post.

What version of CB?
