Kunena 6.3.0 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.3.0 [K 6.3.0] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x/5.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.3

Topics that are moved into this category are generally considered to be closed. Users may want to add additional information but these topics should not be resurrected in order to discuss new problems or unrelated matters.

Question Avatar doesn't change or save on 1.6

After the upgrade to 1.6
users are not able to change their avatar image or upload a new one, it says Saved, but nothing happens

I have Kunena installed on Joomla and sulfur template.

Your K 1.6 configuration report shows that you have JomSocial installed; however I see from your configuration report that you are using Kunena avatars.

The main reasons that people cannot upload a new avatar is because of

Size: in your case, if the avatar file size exceeds 2 Mb
Permissions: if the folder in which the avatar images are stored does not have write access; see Securing Kunena
File ownership: the folder in which the avatar images are stored should be owned by Apache.

There may be other reasons, too, why your users cannot upload avatar images. Certainly, if you have Mootools problems (as 810 has already identified) you have bigger problems than just not being able to upload or change user avatar images.

Yes, it is an "File ownership: the folder in which the avatar images are stored should be owned by Apache" issue, he's asking the hoster to change it.
