Files need to be owned by Apache:Apache. Please also read Securing Kunena . Regardless of what you might have read elsewhere, you should never (under any circumstances) have files and/or folder permissions set to 777 (anyone can add, change, or delete anything on your site if permissions are set to 777).

Can you try setting your Kunena configuration back to the default installation values and tell us if that works. Do you know how to set all Kunena configuration settings back to their default installation values?

Users from my site can't upload their own avatar.

They get the message 'Rename failed'.
I think it has to do with file location media/kunena/ ,...
What should the rights be to that folder?

This is my Kunena configuration:

Have you tried with the Blue Eagle Kunena template, the one you are using is out of date.

Yes, I tried that already.. but same problem...

Has it got something to do with the rights to certain folders on my server?
