I am running Joomla 1.7, New Jomsocial, Installed version: Kunena 1.6.5, My template is Musicity

MY ISSUE:

-I was logged into my site as a user

-Went to the Kunena Forum

-Logged out by selecting the Kunena log out at the top of the forum

-Then went to home page from my sites top Navigation

The site went wacky, as in, the template got all messed up. I refreshed the page and it was still messed up. I shut down my internet and empty cache, still the template is messed up? I logged back in and the site was fine. I logged back out and the site was all messed up? I check my mobil smart phone and it was all messed up. And last I check the site on a different computer and it was messed up. Once logged in the issue fixes it self.

Please can you help I am a new site launched to the public just 2 days ago. I need to fix this As Soon As Possible.

I would be grateful for any assistance and if you need more info from me please just ask.

Thank you for your time.

I have no idea what causes this -- but it really sounds like caching issue in Joomla. Do you have caching enabled?

Hi All,

It would be helpful if someone on this forum could come up with some advice on the above problem because the problem is "real". I have prior to this had the same problem with most major browsers (s I originally thought it may be due to browser incompatibility so tested on all known browsers downloadable) as well as considered it afterwards a "Cache" issue BUT IT IS NOT as I have reset and repeatedly purged my cache but the problem persists.

I have even tried redirecting the page but that does not work. Would anyone know where the file that holds the code for the "Logout" button may be at least if one could either disable or get rid of it it may help as users cant click on what they do not see. More so as I have CB installed that can take on the Login and logout role without Kunena 1.7 complicating that process.

Does anyone know if Joomla 1.6 makes "visible" the Kunena pages? Is there a separate module for logout? As the "Login" Kunena module has not control over the logout button that shows up in the forum discussion.

Thanks
Fuquan

You can disable logout from Kunena by disabling login integration (in configuration).

I have the same issue...I want to disable both the Kunena Login and Logout options. I can get rid of the Login but not the logout. I have disabled login integration (in configuration) which does get rid of the Login display, yet the 'Logout' button still displays in the forums. When the Logout button is clicked, you get a '404- Component Not Found' error page displayed. How can I get rid of the 'Logout' button display?
