Question Kunena Profile Changes with VirtueMart Login

I have a commercial site which has VirtueMart but not Community Builder or Jomsocial.

I am using the VirtueMart login. Users can login with that same user name on Kunena but the profile can't be changed.

Is there a way to fix that?

G'day, timbreese, and welcome to Kunena.

What version of Kunena are you using? I don't think the reason you cannot change a user's profile has anything to do with VirtueMart but we might be able to help you better if you could give us some more information about what version of Kunena you are using.

You posted your question in the K 1.5 Common Questions category. I assume you are using K 1.5.x, is that right on J! 1.5.x. Is that right?

K 1.6.1 is not supported. Please upgrade to K 1.6.3 (see K 1.6 Upgrade Guide first). If this does not solve your problem, read If you are having problems with K 1.6, please read this first

I upgraded successfully but my server is running PHP 5.2.17 and MySQL 4.1.22

I guess I will have to live without users being able to change their profiles until my host upgrades the server?

... or change hosting companies. ;) MySQL 4.1.22 was released in 2006. What makes you think your webhost is going to upgrade soon?
