You have some problems with your Joomla menu. Can we get those problems fixed before anything else, please?

See what we've written before about how to remove the menus that you've built and how to restore the standard menus.

It would really help a lot if we could see your website. Did you edit your K 1.6 configuration report and remove the URL of your site? Did you remove other details, too? If you want our help then you will get quicker help if you post your K 1.6 configuration report without making any changes to it. There is no need to edit your configuration report. Sensitive information - e.g. your site URL - is not displayed to ordinary users; this information is only shown to forum moderators and administrators. If you don't want to share that information, that's OK, but we may not be able to help you without it, either.

If you are getting this error message, about locked categories, then maybe that's how you set those categories up? Please read Sections, Categories, sub-Categories (Part 1) and Sections, Categories, sub-Categories (Part 2) - advanced setup for special groups .

I'm not 100% certain that the problem is caused by "locked categories" even though the message says that you cannot post to locked categories. I think there's a bigger problem in the way that your Joomla menu is setup. I could be wrong, but let's get a clean menu setup, let's see your website, and maybe then we can figure out what's going on here. :)

Thanks for your reply!

Actually, I am using the Website via XAMPP (localhost)

Also, when I created the categories in the Forum, it was working fine and registered users were able to post, however, due to of disorganised categories and sections I deleted them all and Created new sections, then categories.

To be mentioned that I have not created sub-categories- this might be the problem - Not Sure?

However, it does let me post while logged in as Administrator ...

I do not know what to do?
